Sri Paduka Tun Koris bin Dato’ Bendahara Paduka Raja Tun ‘Abdu’l Majid, Dato’ Bendahara Paduka Raja, by his wife, Che’ Puan Tun Mariam binti Dato’ Temenggong Sri Maharaja Daing ‘Abdu’l Rahman, educ. privately. Installed as Dato’ Bendahara Sri Wak Raja of Pahang, by Sultan Sultan Mahmud Ri’ayat Shah, at Lingga, before 11th March 1807. Established his independence and renounced allegiance to the Sultan of Johor, 1853. Assumed the title of Sri Paduka Dato’ Bendahara Sri Maharaja. m. (first) before 1812, Encik Wan Ngah, from Endau. m. (second) in Lingga, 1832, Encik Long binti Esah, Encik Puan Lingga, daughter of Encik Esah Khitab, by his wife, Daeng Minai. m. (third) Y.A.M. Tengku Rahima binti Sultan Mahmud Ri’ayat Shah, Tengku Puan Besar, apparently a daughter of H.H. The Most Serene Prince Paduka Sri al-Wakil al-Imam Sultan Mahmud III Ri’ayat Shah Zilu’llah fil’Alam Khalifat ul-Muminin ibni al-Marhum Sultan ‘Abdu’l Jalil Shah, Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Johor and Pahang and their dependencies. m. (fourth) Encik Seni [Suney] (k. by Engku Sayyid Umar al-Attas on the orders of Tun Tahir, 1861), from Serandu, by whom he left three young children. m. (fifth?) 1858 – 1863 H.H. Sri Paduka Tun Muhammad Tahir bin Dato’ Bendahara Sri Maharaja Tun ‘Ali [Bendahara Tua], Dato’ Bendahara Sri Maharaja of Pahang. b. 1813, eldest son of H.H. Sri Paduka Tun ‘Ali ibni al-Marhum Dato’ Bendahara Paduka Raja Tun Koris, Dato’ Bendahara Sri Maharaja of Pahang, by his first wife, Encik Wan Ngah, educ. privately. Appointed as Heir Apparent and invested with the title of Engku Muda Dato’ Bendahara Sri Wak Raja 1847. Succeeded his father as Sri Paduka Dato’ Bendahara Sri Maharaja, October 1858. Transferred most of his administrative functions to his eldest son after he became incapacitated by old age, May 1861. m. (first) ca 1823, Y.A.M. Tengku Kechil binti al-Marhum Sultan ‘Abdu’l-Rahman Mu’azzam Shah [Tengku Chit], eldest daughter of H.H. 1863 – 1914 H.H. Paduka Sri Baginda Al-Sultan Besar Sir Ahmad Mua’azzam Shah ibni al-Marhum Bendahara Sri Maharaja Tun ‘Ali, Sultan and Yang di-Pertuan of the State of Pahang, KCMG (9.11.1902). b. at Pulau Maulana, Pekan, 22nd April 1836, third son of H.H. Sri Paduka Tun Muhammad Tahir bin Dato’ Bendahara Sri Maharaja Tun ‘Ali, Dato’ Bendahara Sri Maharaja of Pahang, by his second wife, Che’ Long [Che’ Puan Lingga], educ. privately. Granted Kuantan and Endau as his fief by his father, but opposed in his control of these territories by his brother, after his succession in 1857. The dispute over these territories prompted him to oppose his brother in the supreme government and he assumed the title of Sri Paduka Dato’ Bendahara Sri Wak Raja together with the style of Duli Yang Mulia, 1858. Conquered and established control over a number of important towns and regions in the interior, before eventually seizing the capital at Kuala Pahang and expelling his nephew and his guardin, and assuming the title of Sri Paduka Dato’ Bendahara Sri Maharaja, 10th June 1863. Proclaimed by the chiefs and people of Pahang as their Sultan, 8th September 1881. Installed at Pekan with the title of Ke-bawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Sri Baginda Sultan Ahmad Mua’azzam Shah, 25th December 1884 (recognised by the British authorities 1887). Entered into a Treaty of Federation to form the Federated Malay States, July 1895. Transferred his executive and administrative powers to his eldest son, due to old age, 3rd April 1909 (retaining his position and titles as Head of State for life). Japanese forces occupied Pahang 3rd January 1942 and immediately imposed a military administration over the state. The sultan secretly supported the formation and organisation of the Tentera Wataniah in 1942, of which he became titular C-in-C. He also supported cooperation with the clandestine activities of “Force 136” and was taken under their protection 17th August 1945. Assalamualaikum Wr.Wb..kepada Tuan /Puan yang saya hormati, saya Teddy Kurniyanda cucu Sutan Djamaloeddin sebelumnya saya ada menanyakan betulkah Sutan Marah Dirajo Zulkarnaen mempunyai Istri orang eropa?...lalu keturunannya Sutan Marah,Sutan Sati dan Puti Naim Lenggogeni Syiah Kuala...saya lihat di tahun 1932-1974 cocok dengan perkataan orang tua saya,Sutan Marah menikah dengan istri kedua dari orang tua nama buyut Zaenab, punya anak Zaenab, Naim, Marni, Sutan Djamaloeddin.....Kakek Sutan Djamaloeddin dan Nenek Noerma (Pariaman) dikebumikan di Kalimantan Barat...maaf sebelumnya Tuan/Puan yang saya hormati kira-kira betulkah saya masih di keturunan tahun 1932-1974?
